Camel spiders are mostly known for their scary appearance. In this picture, the camel spider is eating a gecko, which has turned pale from its venom. They are somewhat large, although some rumors suggest they are "half the size of a grown man", which is not true. They are generally about six inches long from the head to the end of the last two legs.
