Seahorses are amazing creatures. They live in shallow tropical waters. They are related to pipefish and vary in size from 0.6 in to 14 in. They use their elongated snout to feed. Their diet consists of plankton and very small crustaceans that float in the water. These fish are unique because they mate for life and the males carry the eggs until fertilization.
